Barrelex was running around with a screaming Taylin on his back, swearing in both Elven and common-toungue. Even with his understanding of basic Elvish, he was puzzled at what she what saying. The parasites were gaining, the swarm moving at a speed that nearly matched his. He wouldn't let it take anyone- mainly Taylin for an unknown reason. If it got her, she might become half-drow elf, not surface elf. If it got him, he could go into vampire or homunculi... Neither of his choices sounded that great.
"Lesson One!" he said in whatever Elvish he knew, seeing that Taylin would probably use that.. " Legend says that in combat with Shadows or Chaos, the blade can fire a beam of white-hot light! Now would be a really good time for a test-drive!!!" he said as the swarm when wasn't even four feet from the fleeing couple. "Any language will work for it!! Just hurry Tay!! And I'll replace that damn dagger!!!"

Dragogale listened to Saige trying to comfort him as well as Axels comment. He didnt exactly want her to pity him, he never wanted any pity from anyone. He just was stating the truth that was all. He was puzzled about Saige mentioning a half dragon with a crest on his right shoulder. He felt himself place his hand on his father crest on his own shoulder.
Then his eyes followed a hastened Barrelex and elf on his back headed running down the hall way. He seemed puzzled about this and said,"Whats going on?" His question was answered when he saw not to far back was a swarm of black creatures pursueing them. He heard Saige call to him and saw her take off. He started going as well when he suffling down by his feet followed by a small mewing sound. He looked down with a look of curiousty. He saw a baby dragon by his feet. Dragogale didnt know exactly what to do a that exact momment so he scooped up the dragon in his hand and took off after Saige.

Nexus wasnt doing anything in particulilar at the momment so he just stood there admiring a painting. He heard someone running down the hall, he looked over to Barrelex coming over. First thought pops into his head is 'what is going on?' Then he see Barrelex jump thourgh the painting. Second thought popping up is,"cool." Looking back he sees a swarm of creaturing coming straight at him. Third thought pops up,"HOLY SHIT". After the third thought he quickly jumps into the painting as well and races after Barrelex.

Still grumbling under her breath, Taylin draws the crystalline sword from its sheath. She rests the flat of the blade across her bracer and levels it at the creature behind them. She was unsure how to trigger the ability, but she didn't have any other ideas as to how to stop the shadowy swarm. She focuses her mind on the pursuing creature and imagines a bolt of light flying at it. As she does the blade pulses briefly before said bolt lances off the tip of the tip of the blade and towards the parasite. She keeps the blade leveled at the creature as the projectile flies at it.

Gasping for air, Nezumi threw the thick towel off of him. He was panting. Being under a thick towel while being in a small boiling-hot cramped area just does NOT work. Suddenly, a sense of panic surged through him, and he HAD to get up. HAD to get out of this room completely and run outside. To cool off. Claustrophobia was sinking in and he was hyperventilating. "AAHHHH!!!!" he yelled, before standing up and bolting through the steamed-up room, out the door. He didn't hear a word any of the women said to him as he fled. He didn't care. He needed to get out.
Nezumi reached the familiar door, and threw himself through the doorway. His heartbeat calmed down to a safe pace as he was in his own room, and he kicked off his shoes. The halfling nimbly strolled through the room to his bed. He grabbed some pajamas from his dresser and slowly walked to his bathroom.
After a couple minutes, he was in his pajamas, exiting the bathroom and he was walking slowly to his bed. He had a white nightcap on, and he had on blue and white vertical striped pajama pants on, with a loose button up pajama shirt. He crawled into the cool sheets of his king-sized bed [WAY too big for his size], and he rested his head onto his fluffy pillow.The cool sheets really felt good against him. Nezumi closed his eyes and after a couple minutes of counting pankerus, he fell asleep.

Denkou was running with cane in his arms, making sure that he would drop her or anything stupid like that. He noticed the half-elf ready an attack, and he sped up so he could catch up with the Dracomancer so that Cane was out of harm's way.
* * * * *
"Onward my steed! Let the strength within guide you and your fellow master to safety!!!" bellowed Yuki in her foxish state, saying that Lynn was her 'steed'.

Kai looked across the table at Hizoku, her green eyes burning a hole through him. Her stare and her use of words seemed like she was in a trance, and like she was trying to suck Kai into her little world of hypnotism. He blinked unsuringly, and began to wonder if she really could hypnotize. Because if so, then it was working. Because he didn't feel normal. Lightheaded, almost. It wasn't a good feeling...
He cleared his throat and decided to come up with another topic. "So... Uh... Pretty interesting weather we had today, eh? All that rain and storms... Pretty unusual..." he said unsuring, and starting to feel under pressure. [Kai's the kind of guy who feels insecure and cracks under pressure. Especially when he's in a blood-drenched room with a sadistic girl with a hypnotic gaze and having tea...]

Hizoku smiled. Feeling his unease under her gaze. She liked this feeling of dominance over him. She calmly put down her cup of tea. "Very.... intresting weather indeed." Hizoku's smile slowly turned into a sadistic smile. Faster then thought possible she was sitting in Kai's lap. Eyes widened and sadistic. Holding the front of his shirt like she was gonna punch him or something. But she did the polar opposite. She eagerly pressed her lips against his own.
The chair slowly fell backward and they fell to the floor with a loud thud. "Oh your so cute. And you mustn't leave unscathed." She purred and kissed him gently on the cheek. With a fluid moment, a scalpel was held against his throat and drew a thin line of blood. And his head was in her lap. "Dont worry kawaii Kai. I wont hurt you... alot." she whispered dangerously but all the same gentle.

*20 Minutes Later*
Hizoku was working away with the last of the chains that soon bound Kai. His shirt was shredded in the corner. Thanks to some struggle and Hizoku's handywork with the scalpel. Hizoku walked out over to Kai, decked out in a leather mini skirt and very... very revealing top. Her hair was down and she still had her arm sleeves on. Looking quite exausted but not quite done with her prisoner. And oh those last 20 minutes were the best she ever had in her life. But that was nothing on what was about to come...

Yuki looked at Lynn with annoyance. Normally she would have sunk her fangs into Lynn's shoulder, but she needed her trusty steed to be able to carry her onward to their destination.
* * * * *
Denkou blinked at Cane's question, before looking over his shoulder. "Uh... I think the half-elf has got this situation taken care of. But I promise to make some skeletons for you to kill later on..." he said, his tone composed. Part of him just didn't want to have Cane put into risk of these parasites. They weren't just some weak cloud thing. They were surprisingly strong for a cloud.
* * * * *
Kai raised an eyebrow as a sadistic smile spread across Hizoku's features after she placed down her teacup. Kai slowly lowered his teacup as well. Just to have Hizoku suddenly on his lap, grasping his shirt. Kai's eyes widened, and Hizoku pressed her lips against his.
The chair fell back, and Kai had to lean his head forward a bit so he wouldn't fracture his skull against the flooring from the impact. But his head still hit the floor, but not too hard.
"Oh your so cute. And you mustn't leave unscathed." purred Hizoku, before kissing him on the cheek. Then she unexpectedly pulled a scalpel out of nowhere and pressed it against his throat. Kai could feel a drop of blood run down the side of his throat, while his head was in her lap. He was basically petrified. "Don't worry kawaii Kai. I wont hurt you... alot." she said, with a hint of danger in her sweet voice. Kai's eye twitched.
**20 minutes later**
Kai had never, ever been afraid of anything before. Things may have triggered a scared-like emotion in him, but he had never truly been scared. That all changed in the last 20 minutes. He was bound with some chains, including a leather collar around his neck. Hizoku was dressed in tight leather, revealing much skin. He didn't even know clothing that small existed. Hizoku's long blonde hair was let down, and she was approaching him.
His shirt was cut up and was now god-knows-where, and he had some cuts on his arms and a few on his chest. He didn't know why, but for some odd reason Hizoku seemed to enjoy inflicting pain on him and drawing blood, as if it gave her some sort of high. She looked slightly exhausted, but that look in her eye told Kai that she wasn't quite done with him yet. Kai would try and get away, had he not been completely bound. And yelling wouldn't help the slightest bit. It's not like the house they were in was in some friendly neighborhood. No. Of course they had to be in a house way out.
Kai just watched his, scared as hell, and insecure feeling washed over him like a tsunami wave. He hated the feeling of being basically helpless, and powerless. But at the moment it was fear replacing hate... |

Hizoku giggled as she looked down at Kai. "You look so scared..." Her voice rang with mock concern. Actually enjoying every moment. She touched his cheek with her hand and slowly dragged it along his body. Softly and gently. She smiled softly into his scared amber orbs.
"Why are you so scared. Please trust me... I promised I wouldnt hurt you too much..." She leaned in and gave him a chaste kiss. Her mind was working other things though. But the still sane part of her wanted Kai to trust her...
Though the other wicked part of her was leaning in closer and showing off way too much cleavage to be Hizoku. Torturing people in more ways then one was one of the things she was good at.

"Skeletons?? Aww but they sound so boring..." She pouted and glared away and stuck out her lip like a child and crossed her arms. But her anger faded away soon after as she looked at Denkou lovingly. I love you alot you know.' She thought. But Cane knew she wouldnt have the guts to say it out loud. Last time was... a slip of the tongue but next time. When the time was right she would say it to his face. She smiled and looked back at the cloud things. "Awww come on!! They dont look too hard to defeat. I beat with one swing of Valkea they will VANISH into another puff of cloud. Except this cloud will be their DEATH! Because... the air will eat them after I seperate their many particles then they will DIE and I'll be the hero..." She explained, throwing death glares behind Denkou and at the clouds.

Lynn's eye twitched as if knowing what Yuki was thinking. "BARRELEX!!!!! IM BORED ARE WE DONE RUNNING YET??? IM HUNGRY TOO!!! ARE WE THERE YET???!" She complained. Trying to be as annoying as possible...

"Okay, fine. You can have a swing at 'em." said a reluctant Denkou, his eyes closed. Be opened them then swung Cane around him so he was holding her behind his back, still running forward. He held her in a position so she could attack the parasites, but not damage Denkou or anyone else, and so she wouldn't fall.

Kai looked into Hizoku's green eyes as she giggled at him. "You look so scared..." she noted rather mockingly, as she trailed her hand from on his cheek down his body lightly. Kai said nothing. Even if he tried, it would come out as silence. He knew that his voice was gone for the time being. He could feel it somehow.
"Why are you so scared. Please trust me... I promised I wouldn't hurt you too much..." she said kindly before leaning in and kissing him. Kai could feel a cold sweat on the back on his neck. His body felt cold inside; a feeling that he didn't like too much. His eyes were still wide with shock, looking at the Hizoku that seemed to have a different personality. Was she always like this, and just hid it earlier today? Or did something click and she changed her personality completely? Kai couldn't tell. All he knew was that he was actually scared; and that he wished this was just a dream instead. He closed his eyes tightly, and reopened them. She was still there. Of course she was. How stupid of him. Kai closed his eyes for a moment, then opened them, trying to hide as much fear from his eyes as he could; which wasn't very much.
A shiver crawled slowly up his spine and he was just there, tied up with chains, scared, and unsure of what to do. |

Kai was really starting to piss Hizoku off now.
"WHY WONT YOU RESPOND?!" She screamed and raised her arm and slapped him. Her eye twitching but a sadistic smile across her face. "You're making me angry... please dont do that." She whispered close to his face. Resting her forhead against his own and slowly embracing him. Nuzzling her face into his shoulder and neck.
She pulled back and looked into his eyes again. Feeling anger bubble up inside once again. She sighed and left the room. For now....

"YAY!!!" Exclaimed Cane happily. She paused. "How do I kill them?" She looked at the clouds and at the confined spaces. Pondering if she should use Akki Orkaan. But she would have to get away from Denkou. She bit her bottom lip and looked at the clouds. 'Damn. I cant exactly use it while they are on the move. And Denkou wouldnt leave me alone to do this. They all have to be gone. Or else I might seriously hurt them...'

Saige ran and hadn't seen Adrian until he slowed down right beside her and scared her half to death. " What the hell are you doing? Sneaking up on people like that!" she said. Then she shook herself to get a grip on the situation. She looked at the swarm. " Holy smokes, what is that? A swarm of bees?" she asked.
"No." was the only reply she got from Adrian. Saige went closer and suddenly light appeared around her. " Alright what's going on?" she said then Flash! she disappeared only to appear on someone soft. " Alright, what the hell? Who cast a teleportation spell? Did I do that?" she said to herself.
She then looked down and saw who she was sitting on. " Oh my god!! Kai!! What happened to you?" she asked quietly and quickly got off him. She felt his forehead, then looked at the chains. She took off the collar, then murmured a spell to break the chains. She placed a glowing hand on the chains. The metal began to fade and she quickly slipped it off Kai's hand before it solidified again.
" Jeez, who did this to you? It's alright I got, you." she said soothingly. Thinking about the others and the swarm, Saige thought that she needed to get back. Saige looked down at Kai. She couldn't possibly leave him to fend for himself, although she knew he could. But she decided to bring him with her. It was quiet unnnerving seeing him on him oh his boxers. She took off Nexus's cloak and placed it around Kai.
" Hold on Kai." she said. She murmured a teleportation spell. They disappeared in a puff of smoke only to appear behind raven on Lexis's back. Raven spinned around and looked at her. " Sorry," the both said at the same. time. " You were the one that said the teleportation spell?" Saige asked and Raven nodded looking at her apologeticly.
Saige looked down at Kai and she saw from the corner of her eyes Raven looking at him as well. " Axel!!" she called out. " What is it? Hey what's wrong with Kai?" she hear a thoughy say in her head. " How should I know? Go get me some mens' clothes will you. Please Axel, and please do hurry." she thought.
A few minutes later Axel appeared by her carrying clothes in his mouth. She took it and thanked him. She looked back at Kai. " Kai, here are some clothes for you. Here have it." she said softly. She placed the clothes in Kai's hands. When he didn't reply, Saige frowned in worry. " Kai, are you alright? It's just me Saige. Please be okay..." she pleaded.

Hizoku ran out of the room and saw Saige disappear with HER Kai.
"THAT BITCH!" She screamed and ran back into the room. Putting on proper clothes. Black capries and her usual corset white vest shirt thing. Dual holsters on her right thigh and a katana sheathed on her back. The Angry Princess before her kept her weapons in almost perfect condition. And some of her memories in Hizoku so she knew where all this wonderful equipment was. She ran out the door. After spending a half hour or more with Kai. She knew his scent was gonna sniff him out if it was the last thing she was gonna do.
Get her hands on Kai. Torture up that girl. And maybe kill some more people to feel alittle more comfortable. She was shaking with fury and running out through the forest. Not knowing where to start but she will find him. And oh is he ever gonna get it good. Well.... not really but Im pretty sure you get her/ my meaning.
"IM GONNA KILL YOU YOU BITCH! GIVE HIM BACK TO ME!!!!" She screamed in fury. Turning left, right everywhere. Determined to get her prize back.
"HA! YOU CAN NEVER HAVE HIM!!! I ALREADY TOOK SOMETHING FROM HIM AND ITS MINE!!! HE'S MINE!!!!" She screamed, if possible, even louder. Some drunk sitting on the side of a road looked at her and muttered almost incoherently.
"You purty little girl. Wha'cha doin' out so late?" He said, pink in the face from alcohol.
"SHUT UP YOU JERK!! I WANT HIM BACK!" She yelled. Her eyes twitching and forming into a new colour. A redish orange colour. A trait from the Angry Princess when she is pissed beyond compare.
The man went silent. "Dont lose to her little girl. Go get em'!" He encouraged and Hizoku disappeared into the darkness.

Lynn looked behind her at the swarm of clouds or whatever they were. Not focused on them but screaming in the background. Familiar screams.... angry... and.... deadly. "Umm... I fear there is a unhumanly terror coming closer..." She muttered.

Cane perked her ears and heard the screaming from Hizoku as well. She looked at Lynn who was focused on that as well. Lynn made eye contact and Cane tilted her head to the right. Lynn shrugged and looked away and continued to run. Cane looked at the clouds. Back to figuring out how to defeat these things without hurting anyone.

"WHY WONT YOU RESPOND?!" Kai's head turned swiftly as Hizoku's hand connected with his cheek... in the form of a slap. He looked in front of him and saw her face smiling sadistically, though her eye seemed to be twitching... "You're making me angry... please don't do that." she whispered so close to his face that he could feel her breath, making the hairs on the back of his neck stand up. Then she started snuggling into him or something. She was silent for about a second, but then she pulled away and looked at him directly into the eyes. She stood up and stalked off into a different room.
Kai's widened eyes stared at the doorway for a second, before he quickly began to struggle; trying to worm his way out of these chains somehow. But Hizoku seemed to be really good at this whole bondage stuff, considering he was having no success at this escape. He could feel that the chain at his wrists had cut through his skin slightly because they stung more than they did earlier, and he felt a drop of blood seep down the side of his wrists earlier. "Note to self: Do not let her see the chain-cuts." He was worried that she might get excited and twitch and put on more chains.
Kai closed his eyes and calmed down a bit. Hizoku wouldn't stay in that room forever, so every second counted. And he wouldn't have any luck in escaping if he just thrashed about. Kai shifted his body a bit to the side, and slowly twisted his arm, turning his wrist as well. If he could get just his right arm out, then...
And then it hit Kai. "I can turn into a wolf... If I turn into that, then maybe there's a chance I can get out of here...." Kai readied himself, prepared to morph...
And something was suddenly on him. Again. "Alright, what the hell? Who cast a teleportation spell? Did I do that?" Kai's body fell rigid. "No way.... Not her too...." His eye twitched as he saw Saige, just as she looked down and saw him as well. "Oh my god!! Kai!! What happened to you?" she asked a little louder than a whisper, before quickly getting off of him. "Jeez, who did this to you? It's alright I got, you." she said, her tone ringing with a soothing voice. But like that was honestly going to work on Kai at this point. And Kai's nerves spiked up as he saw Saige take off her cloak. He jumped and got ready to scramble off to the nearest thick shadow and get the hell out of here, but she only placed it on him. Kai immediately wrapped it around himself to further protect himself from her.
"Hold on Kai." she said, before muttering something incoherent and in a puff of smoke they were on something that was moving at a fair speed. "Sorry," Kai turned to see where the other voice had come from, and it was from Raven. "You were the one that said the teleportation spell?" asked Saige, and Raven nodded. Kai looked at her oddly. "How the hell did she know where I was...?" He was beginning to feel like he was now also being stalked or something.
Kai saw Raven now looking at him, as well as Saige. This was really freaking him out; that feeling of being in the spotlight. "Axel!" called out Saige. Kai turned his head. Great. Now even a cat was watching him. Saige was silent for a moment or two, and Axel took off somewhere. It was silent for a few minutes, and Axel returned with something in his mouth. Saige took them, said something, then turned to Kai. "Kai, here are some clothes for you. Here have it." she said soft, before placing them into his hands. He said nothing in return, just looked at her. "So... She's on my side...? No... I still can't trust her." He noticed her frown. "Kai, are you alright? It's just me Saige. Please be okay..." Kai cocked his head slightly to the side. He shook his head and opened his mouth to speak, but no sound came, as his body once again fell rigid.
Screams. Anger. Death. Ack.
Kai's eyes widened as his head looked around quickly. "...She's coming..." Kai concealed himself underneath the cloak completely, and quickly threw on the black pants and white t-shirt. The shirt showed off the numerous cuts on his arms; some of which were still bleeding. Damn.
Kai poked his head out from underneath the cloak, then sat upright, facing Saige. He looked at her for a couple seconds, before the pain of the deep cuts on his wrists from the chains began to come into effect. He winced, before turning away from Saige and putting on the cloak. He raised the hood as well. If Hizoku was coming, he needed as much coverage as possible to hide...
"Umm... I fear there is a inhumanly terror coming closer..." Kai's sensitive ears picked up a trace of the unmistakably familiar voice. He turned his head and looked around, but he didn't see her. Lynn. Probably the only girl he could trust... 95%. The other 5% being since she apparently likes to torture him by almost making him loose the use of his arm completely. Kai blinked. Correction. There was no girl he could really trust at this point.

"I agree, my steed. It does indeed appear that someone seeking blood-lust is approaching..." said Yuki in response to Lynn's statement. Yuki poked Lynn's sides with her claws in an effort to make her go faster, as though her claws were spurs or something.

Barrelex saw the beam of light hit the swarming bugs and burn up. With the sword, it was easy enough. Gently placing down Taylin, he went to the east wall of the barren armory, inserted his keystone, and watched the wall spin. Staffs, swords, daggers and a few bows of different designs hung elegantly on the wall. He grabbed a green dagger and handed it to Taylin.
" It's name is Icy Leaf. It uses the water and earth elements. That'll be your replacement. It's also our strongest dagger." He said as he grabbed an orange short sword off the wall and attached it to his hip. He then took a pair of daggers and slipped the into jacket. He went to the west wall, opened it and pulled out some magic spell scrolls. "Alright everyone, help yourselves. We leave after this." He looked around, where was Saige? She was here earlier right? And what about the idiot barbarian who fell out of the window? He went and stood against the wall only to see two freshly hatched Dragonets crawling about behind Lynn and Dragogale. He sighed as he looked at his inactive egg. He forgot which one it was that he had.

Ryokhan Simply walked out of the fireball, he amor had taken a beating, but nothing that Melana couldn't fix with her magic. Grabbing the orb, he opened a warp gate and exited to the Archepelago. He fell from the sky, and whipped his shield, and skimmed the top of the tropical trees. The cave of Aquilli was ahead. He went in, taking in the sight of the huge blue beast eating what was left of a pankeru warship. He whistled at Aquilli. "Hey! Stupid! Did you not get the message from Tornphoon? Get moving!!
Yeah, let a guy not eat, you tiny morsel. IF you weren't my higher-up you'd be burning in my gut. [/s] Aquilli sent to him.
"Can it, and swim." Ryokhan said to the dragon. He was only the size of Aquilli's eye, so the threat was really there.

Taylin straightens her belt and slides the crystal blade back into its sheath as Barrelex opens the wall. She takes the dagger from him and spins it across her palm once, followed by a few more spins around her whole hand. Satisfied with the feel of her new weapon, she slips it into the sheath at her back and pulls her cloak over it. She ambles over to Barrelex and bows her head slightly. "Thank you. For the weapons and for...for saving me." She hadn't wanted to say it, but it was true. If she had stayed and tried to fight the creature by herself, she would probably have been beaten badly and probably possessed. She folds her arms across her stomach and stares at the toes of her boots for several seconds. "Um...I'm sorry for what I said earlier. I didn't mean any of it."

He looked at her and smiled." Its the least I can do. Especially since we were on the brink of a possible mutation. Besides, you are my teammate and helped me out more than once. Remember the Effigies? Anyways, have you seen Kai or Saige anywhere? They're not here. And i didn't see Kai fight with the dracolich.."
He opened another wall to reveal recently polished armors; luxurious clothes glistening leather, metal armor so bright, goblins would fight wars for and that dragons would cuddle with in sleep.
"Again, help yourselves." he said and sat in a corner with his egg, trying to identify the breed. He laid it down for a second and revealed a little pouch of gems from one of his pockets. tossing it to Taylin. " I almost forgot, you wanted pay earlier from that Priest right? That should cover for you."
