He has yet to discover what the enchantment does, however. At all times he carries a black katana with a six inch length of chain dangling from the hilt. This sword is named Tensa and has been enchanted so that it will never dull and it can cut through almost anything.

History:Jarek was born into a noble family allied to a warlord in the country of Maltrujis. His mother died when he was still young leaving him with very few memories of her. He was raised almost exclusively by his father whenever he happened to be home, or by his uncle, the captain of the guard. When he turned eighteen a his father and uncle were killed by an unknown assassin. Shortly after his father's death the warlord they served announced the the entire Iskedar family was composed of traitors. Jarek had fled the country, heading for Nuchu, where his mother's family supposedly lived. He was taken in by his grand parents and continued his life, training with the family weapon master and at the Hydromancy academy. On his twentieth birthday he left his grand parents home and hired on with a merchant ship. He quickly rose through the ranks, becoming a first mate in less than a year. At that point he left the crew and formed his own crew, on a ship of his own. Despite several attempts at being a merchant he quickly switched to something a little more lucrative: piracy. He has done that for the last few years, though it has recently rumored that he now works as a privateer for War-queen Dionica.
