The Story (Triliment Setting)

[Barrelex]

Inhaling the last of his food, he heard a voice- the high priests- calling out the winners. "Lynn, Barrelex and Taylin proceed to the courtyard immediatly for Round 2." Barrelex swallowed slowly and moved down, removing his arm from the strap- it felt amazingly rejvenated, and he looked at the new scar on his arm. This scar- where have i seen this design.. He continued to look at it until he was in the yard. "First contestant's creatures- Shiar-ri; Second contestant- primal hunter; Third contestan- Acidic Slug. Take your pick." the high priest stated.
Wait, 2 assassination Creatures and an ambush predator? It's almost like he WANTS to kill us... Not good.. Thought Barrelex, hoping for his life that he got a weakened Shiar-ri. " Barrelex is here first, give him the Shiar-ri. It'll put him out of the running." the high priest said silently to his fellow priest.

Lynn was about to enter the room when she heard her name. 'Pervy priest wants me and those other two? Alright...' She made her way and stood beside Barrelex. He was given the Shiar-ri. Lynn had a feeling her next oppenent wasnt gonna be easy. Seeing as all there was left was a primal hunter and an acidic slug. She sighed and waited for her turn.

Saige’s power gathered and the crescent moon on her forehead started to glow and it also began to burn. If Saige took off the crescent moon then she may likely kill the three guys, because the crescent moon held her power back. You could say that it sort of in a way protected people from really getting hurt. Saige doesn’t really like killing people but she will if she has to. She looked at the three guys with a killer glare. She sensed that they too were also gathering their power up and ready to attack one final one. She closed her eyes then opened them again. Her hands began to glow and soon twin balls of lightening appeared on her hands. It sparked blue yellow and white.

She looked at the three and saw them whispering to each other. She wondered what they were talking about. Then she heard one say backup. Saige frowned and looked around. Sure enough there were other people coming and Saige also saw Kai, Dragogale, and another person beside Dragogale. The other people she didn’t know but she sensed their power as well. “ So I guess you’re going to fight dirty?” she asked aloud her voice sounding like milk and honey but with a deadly threat. The people down below she saw now had glowing hands of blue, red, green and orange. (Each person hand one of these colours ß) Saige realized that they were going to attack her together and at once. She had no chance at that. She might get out alive but hurt pretty bad. She can only probably take out a couple.

“ Alright then, if you can play dirty so can I.” She said in same tone as the other one. She raised her hands, “ Barricade Tornado Shield!” she called out. The wind instantly grew thick at her summoning and it then surrounded her and the three men. Saige knew that too much power use would drain her at the end, but she would rather come out of this battle alive than dead. Then the men outside attacked but her shield cut off their attacks and was bounced off and returned to hit them. “ That’s why I love this shield,” she thought. The dust started to rise and the tornado became stronger and the clouds above only got darker and darker, and the thunder grew even louder. “ Don’t you just love the weather? Now its just rolling in naturally.” She said.

She was losing control of her power and was now almost controlling her, almost consuming all of her. She needed to stop but it felt good to her. The power surged through her veins and she didn’t want it to stop. “ Control it Saige!! If you don’t, you’ll just turn into what your uncle became and what you so hard try to destroy. If you don’t control it you’ll only become like him. Think how disappointed your family would be” A thought came to her and she knew that it was Axel. She knew that Axel was right but it pissed her off. “ Shut up!!!” she yelled and sent a bolt of lightening that almost hit her cat. “ Oh no!” she thought. “ Oh Axel I’m so sorry, I can’t control it. It’s so hard, something so little and it makes me snap. I need to get rid of these guys fast. I’ll try to not kill them.” She thought knowing Axel would be able to read her thoughts. She snapped her full attention at the three guys.

“ Twin lightening plasma rays!!” she yelled out and let her power burst out and hit the three guys. Two big lightening rays ripped the big black gloomy cloud and hit the three guys. They attacked at the same time, Saige’s rays hit the guys full on their bodies sending them down and back to the ground, and their power hit Saige full force on her stomach knocking the wind out of her. Saige’s wings kept her up in the air but she had to summon a bit of wind to get her breath back. The tornado faded and she looked down below at the three guys. She knew that they were dead, because the force she sent flying towards them were too strong. If they had any shield on they probably would have had the chance to survive, but they were too stupid to think about any shield so it cost them their life. Blood dripped from the corner of her mouth. She wiped the silver metallic blood on her shirt; well whatever there was left of it. “ Those stupid idiots! They took a big chunk off of my clothes. Perverts! “ She said angrily. Her well-toned stomach was exposed and the wind lightly caressed the uncovered spot making her shiver. She was tired and she still had to heal herself. A little gash here and there. “ Karaka manna trichinae” she softly murmured. Her body began to glow again and then paching!! All the blood was gone. She had to get rid of the blood because it was very dangerous to wander around, especially if there were lycans nearby and the full moon appearing that very night. She took her time going back to the ground. As soon as she was on the ground a furry fur ball came flying at her. “ Axel!” she said then laughed only to stop and hiss because of the pain in her stomach, broken ribs about two of them. “ Oh I’m so proud of you, you put a lid to your emotions. And you almost fried me too! Although I’m not very happy on that one. But I’m very proud never-the-less.” He said and smiled at her in his cattish way. She looked over to where Kai was and gently smiled. “ Axel tell him I said thank you.” She asked. She thought that if she went over there to thank him herself he might just get up and leave. So it was better just to kept her distance.

“ There, I telepathically sent him your thank you.” He replied. Saige placed Axel over her shoulder then she turned and went to where Dragogale and his companion were standing. “ Hey Dragogale. Did Axel tell you to come? I’m sorry if I caused you any trouble, but thank you for coming. I don’t like getting into trouble but trouble always seems to find me.” She said to him with a beatific grin. (ß Haha I was just trying the word beatific out.) “ Damn, where is my coat? I’m getting cold. Axel have you seen it?” she asked. “No, its probably inside.” He replied. Saige looked up and saw that it was still gloomy. “Oops, no wonder.” She said. She closed her eyes for a moment and cleared the sky so that it was back to its sunny and hot self. With her eyes still closed she retracted her wings. She then opened her eyes to look at Dragogales’ companion. He gave him a slight frown and then looked back at Dragogale. “ Who’s your friend?” she asked. Axel took one look at the guy and hissed. “ I like him.” He said telepathically knowing that he also sent that message to Dragogale. “ Then why did you hiss?” she asked. “ Just for the fun of it.” He answered, and Saige laughed lightly careful not to hurt her broken ribs. “ She’s going to faint, we better get her in the church.” Axel said and she also knew he sent that message to both Nexus and Dragogale. “ I am not! I just hurt.” She replied slightly embarrassed and her cheeks turning slightly pale, Axel was right she was going to faint. The lack of energy was too much.

[Half-Dragon]

"That was interesting"Commented Nexus."I told you didnt need and any help. Shes small but powerful all the same."Dragogale replied. Dragogale looked down at the men and waited to see if any survived that attack but none got up. He looked up again to see Saige come down from the sky and noticed a chunk of clothing gone. He turned over to look at Nexus who seemed to act a little aggitated. Dragogale noticed he wasnt paying attention to anything but he was staring a Saige intently. Dragogale turned his attention over to Saige. She smiled and said," Hey Dragogale. Did Axel tell you to come? I’m sorry if I caused you any trouble, but thank you for coming. I don’t like getting into trouble but trouble always seems to find me.”
Dragogale whispered,"No problem at all." He looked over again and Saige asked,"Whos your friend?" Of course Nexus looked over to him with some concern. Dragogale was about to answer when Axels voice interuppted,"I like him" Dragogale smirked a little.

'Whoa. Theres the hot girl right in front of me.' Nexus was thinking,'What am I going to do? Shes really a looker. Why do I always get nervous like this.' "Um... My name is Nexus." He tried to stammer but couldnt get it out straight. He noticed that Saige was really looking tired and was about to drop over. He felt the need to help but another person walked over and held her up.

Hotaru sat in the doorway, getting more bored with every passing minute. Everyone was leaving the room one by one leaving Hotaru to guard, well pretty much nothing. " Hey Hizoku are you getting the feeling that we're not needed anymore?, hm?" she asked grabbing another stick of dango from the basket and munching on it reflectively. "Actually I'm getting a bit bored anyways... YES LETS GO FIND SOMETHING TO DO, HM!" Exclaimed Hotaru, getting clumsily to her feet and briskly heading out the door.

Hotaru stepped out of the church glad to be out of the religious prison. She glanced up at the dark, stormy sky "weird weather we've been having, Thats not normal" Hotaru muttered to herself attempting to ignore the nagging feeling in the back of her head that screamed IMPENDING DOOM. Akuma mewed loudly from her bag, indignant about being ignored for so long. "OK FINE SHUT UP" snapped Hotaru, interpreting the mew, and placing the triumphant cat on her shoulder.

Kai watched as the not-so intense battle soon came to a close. "Hmm. So it seems I wasn't needed." he thought to himself, then turned and jumped down from the very large tree, and landed easily on his feet. Then Kai watched Saige descend from the air, onto the ground. She started talking to the half-breed and...someone.

Kai only took a few steps toward the church, when a voice rang in his head, stating Saige's thank you, but it was from a different voice. "Oooookay then...." Kai looked at Saige questionally. "And why didn't she just come here and thank me herself? I had to go and thank her for healing me anyways..." thought Kai, as he began to walk toward Saige. And naturally, as he got closer, he began to notice that she looked a bit 'woozy'.

When Kai approached her, he held onto her shoulder since it looked like she was about to fall over any second now. "You alright?" he asked, looking at her quite oddly. "You look like you're gonna faint." noted Kai. He smirked a bit. "Oh and thanks for healing me earlier. I appreciate it."

[Barrelex]

"Acidic Slug to the Lycan. Meaning the assassin gets construct.." the high priest said quietly. Now then, the fun begins!

Barrelex saw the creatures get dragged out- First the Slug, a blood stained mouth ment the ravenous monster had fed a while ago. Next the primal hunter walked out, its hand-cones gleaming as though just cleaned, its yellow eye moving back and forth amongst the contestants. Then the shiar-ri, moving out the shadows, claws glistening. He looked at the mane in fear. It was a blue mane- a female. " Holy shit....." he whispered, knowing he got the worst of the 2 sexes. He gulped and dug out his fastest spell, fear leeching across his face. He felt the presence of death enter the arena.

Lynn looked at Pervy Priest ((any priest is now pervy priest to lynn ^^)) and smirked. 'I knew it...' She left to go work on a project to help her against the slug. Lynn walked into the church and made her way to the room where she got her arm sword things. She light a torch thing and looked at the shelf of empty scrolls. She took down a big scroll from the bottom shelf and walked over to a table. Lynn opened it and grabbed a pen which was placed neatly on the table.

"Ok, if I can remember what the summoning was... and where... Im pretty sure it's still there..." She said quietly to herself. Lynn worked quietly for a moment, writing all sorts of different kanji and even letters that the world was unfamilar with. Her own kind of alpahbet, for security purposes. Lynn paused and thought, she smirked and began to write some more.

Hizoku nodded and followed Hotaru.
"So what do you want to do Hotaru?" She asked quietly. She giggled at Akuma's cry for attention.
"Shall we go for another drink?"
Just then someone came up from behind Hizoku, grabbed her shoulder, spun around and was caught in someones arms. He leaned down and crushed her in a half passionate kiss. 'WHAT!?' She thought feriously, trying to squirm away. Another guy behind him laughed and shouted,
"Holy Sean couldnt help it could you?"
Sean stopped kissing her and looked down at her in a satisfied smirk.
"You left me hanging..." He said quietly.
"You dont seem to understand rejection dont you?" Hizoku said quietly. Hizoku pushed away from him and lifted her hand to her mouth. 'Disgusting.'
Sean shrugged. "From a beautiful girl like you, I thought you were still flirting." He retorted. Hizoku glared and stood near Hotaru. She wouldve kicked their ass here and now but she felt nothing. She just wanted to walk away.
"Whatever. Come on Hotaru..." Hizoku said and began to walk away.

Denkou crept through the dark shadows of an alleyway in central Triliment City. He held out the slightly crumpled piece of paper in front of him. It read, "Nagasaki Borneo." He crushed the piece of paper and shoved it back into his pocket using his human hand. He looked in front of him and his eyes narrowwed. He saw his target.

Nagasaki was walking calmly down the road in front of him, completely unaware of his surroundings. A foolish move. Denkou walked up the alleyway that connected with the street Nagasaki, slowly, but at a decent enough speed that he wouldn't lose sight of his 'prey'. When he stepped into the sunlight, his hair and eyes seemed to glow like he had an aura around him. Though, he wasn't in the light for very long before he had grabbed someone's attention. But the attention he got was from the very person he was after.

Nagasaki stared in shock as the skeletal hand reached out and grabbed his shirt, dragging him back into the alleyway. He didn't even have time to scream before the silent assassin whipped out a small knife and slit his throat.

Denkou put his now blood-drenched blade back into it's respective case, then picked up the limp body and held it up with his human hand. Using his other hand made of bones, he held it against Nagasaki's chest. A couple seconds passed, and Nagasaki slowly sunk into the cement below.

That was Denkou's last kill of the day. It was disappointing that he only had a handful to do, as it was now only mid-afternoon, so he had plenty of time to kill. Doing what? He didn't know, and really didn't care either. Possibly he could get some of tomorrow's work done...? No, then tomorrow he would have time to waste doing nothing like right now. "Might as well just take it today." he decided.

After a moment or two of pondering, Denkou decided he'd go to the graveyard. If he didn't keep himself busy, then the day would only go by slower. Along his travels, he heard some noisy chatter in the usually half-deserted edge of town. Denkou looked [Hey, maybe there was a fight...?]. But he only saw some guy get scolded for...kissing her?

"You don't seem to understand rejection don't you?" said some girl with blonde hair quietly. She pushed away from the guy and lifted her hand to her mouth. The guy just simply shrugged. "From a beautiful girl like you, I thought you were still flirting." He retorted. The girl glared and stood near her friend.

"Right then..." Denkou muttered, then looked away, taking a step. But he paused, and looked back at the crowd. The guy who was being told off...He looked familiar. Denkou looked closer. "That's definitely him." Denkou recognized him as someone who was possibly friends with someone who Denkou had recently murdered. "There's a chance I may have to kill this guy..."

“ Hey Saige this guy thinks you’re a looker. But the guy is nervous around you.” the thought came to her head. Saige looked at Axel and grinned. Then she turned her attention back to Nexus. “ It’s a pleasure meeting you Nexus. I haven’t met much good looking people since you and some of the other people today.” She said grinning at him. She was half teasing but in some ways it was also true. She was about to fall over when someone grabbed her shoulders to steady her. She looked up to see who it was and saw that it was Kai. “ Just a bit woozy, I think I’m a bit drained. Nothing like a good bath wouldn’t cure. I do feel faint but I’ll be okay……. I think.” She said to him. Then what he said the next surprised her. “ How did you know I healed you? I didn’t think you would find out. Were you awake the whole time I was healing you?” she asked with a little smile. “ It was no biggie, I would have done it for anyone. I would die for anyone, if I have to. Even if it means not finishing the mission I have so long waited to complete. Hell if I could have taken the blows you received and the pain you got I would have, but I couldn’t.” she added and smiled at him then winced when the pain in her stomach started again. “ Ow… I think I cracked two ribs. Hurts like hell.” She said. “ Hammer Blow!!!” she heard a voice yell. Saige turned to see one of the guys had gotten up. His hands were glowing red; the spell he was aiming was at her. And it hit its mark. Saige was too drained and weak to dodge the blow or even mutter a counter spell to hit it back. The spell hit her right on the chest and the blow sent her careening backwards. She hit a wall and went straight through it. She gasped as the rocks started to fall on her. She rolled over on her stomach so that the damage would be on her back and not on her already broken ribs. The pain was too much to bear as the rocks fell on her. “ Saige!! Answer me!!! Are you alright?” She heard Axel’s voice. “ Axel, I can’t hold it. You have to hurry. Its too much, too much pressure.” She thought, “ Saige stay awake! You hear me!! Stay conscious!” she heard him say. But it was too painful. “ Axel… I can’t…” she thought and then she lost her consciousness.


Axel turned to his jaguar mode. And he roared his frustration and anger. He tried digging through the rocks with his paws. “ She’s unconscious, we have to get her out.” He telepathically said to the others. He kept on digging.


Adrian had leaned on the bed as the earthquake shook. He watched as the guy leapt off the window and smiled. He turned to look at the priest. “ What was that?” he asked. “ A spell?” he added. The priest nodded her head. Adrian sat on the chair, and watched as the priest sat on the other chair. They started to talk about healers and different types of healing.

Hotaru was thinking on what the hell kind of guilt possessed her to pick up this demon of a cat ,when she heard a disturbance behind her. She whirled around to see Hizoku being half-raped by the rejected-guy from the night before. "HEY SCREW OFF!" she screamed at Sean. "oh just for that you get the birdie boiler!" muttered pointing at him dramatically.

"Oh yeah I'm so freaking terrified" said Sean crossing his arms smugly. "you should be." whispered Hotaru psychotically, summoning flame into her hands, before slamming them both into the ground. "birdie boiler!" a few seconds passed. Sean laughed "oh yeah thats real terrifying, nothing happened!" her taunted, not feeling the ground heat up beneath his feet. Suddenly a huge geyser of boiling water burst up underneath his feet, shooting 10 feet into the air.

Hotaru frowned, "wait a minute, thats not right." She muttered crawling over to the hole where the water shot out. She peered down the hole and heard running water. 'an underground river, hm?' thought Hotaru, glancing over at Sean, who was now writhing in pain on the ground covered in 3rd degree burns. "ah it works" she shrugged, nudging Sean in the stomach.

Hizoku's eye twitched as she saw Sean lay on the ground. "Umm that was abit much dont you think?" She said quietly. His friend was already gone in a cloud of smoke. She looked down the hole watching the water rush to some opening somewhere in the city.
"Out of everything I've seen today, I think that is the most amusing technique ever. Not to mention the name." Hizoku laughed.

Lynn paused, hearing a scream of pain. She peered outside the door and seen a gyser of water and some guy being half killed. '....' was all that she could think. She went back to work. Her summoning was almost complete.

Raven woke up and unfurled her wings from her body. She hasn’t retracted her wings for a while. She didn’t know why she had woken up but it seemed like something was wrong. She stood up and saw the weather was black before it turned it was sunny again.

“ That’s by the city. Lexis wake up.” She called gently. She heard a groan from her companion, and then she called out, “ What is it now?” she asked.

“ There’s something wrong, I think. Is it going to rain?” she asked.

“ No I don’t think so. It should be sunny and hot and bright out. What’s up?” she asked. Then Lexis got up and walked to where Raven was.

“ I don’t know I just have this bad feeling in my gut.” She said then turned to look at Lexis. Lexis’s height was up to Raven’s chest. And Lexis was huge and furry yet her fur was soft to the touch and of course it was also soft looking.

“ Maybe you should go and see what’s going on in the town.” She said. Raven looked at Lexis.

“ You don’t want to come with me?” Raven asked. Lexis laughed her wolfish laugh.

“ Are you kidding, I would attract too much attention, have you taken a look at the colour of my fur! Hunters and trappers would probably come after me in a flash once they see me. How many trappers and hunters do you think there is in that city?” Lexis asked. Lexis’s fur was pure black. Blacker than any black that anyone has ever seen. And on her forehead was a diamond, and it was oval shaped. Her eyes were a deep pure blue like it was plucked from the ocean’s depth. It always amazed Raven how Lexis’s eye colour was like that.

Raven walked over to the corner of the lair. She picked up her black cloak with a hood. She then took a different black garb and wrapped it over her nose and mouth so that only her eyes showed. She then put on the hood. She looked at Lexis. “ I’ll see you later alright. I’ll be back as fast as I can as soon as I find out what’s going on.” She told Lexis she then spread her wings and took off. She headed towards the church and landed just by the outskirt of the cemetery. She retracted her wings much more easier than Saige. Her wings just retracted, and there was no pain or cracking and snapping sounds. She slowly walked through the cemetery. The she heard voices. The she heard a girl say, “Oh just for that you get the birdie boiler!” Raven frowned and watched the show unfold; she stayed in the shadows and kept invisible. Then water burst out of the ground. She watched as the guy writher in pain.

Raven shook her head; the running water was probably the water source of the town. She wanted to get out of there without getting their attention, but it didn’t matter. So she just walked towards the church the fog caressing and surrounding her. Her hood on and her face covered but her eyes and her wearing all black she probably looked like the living dead. That thought made her smile. She went in the church and went looking for the priest.

Hotaru shrugged at Hizoku's comment. "well they don't take it seriously because of the name and they arn't expecting anything so they aren't prepared, I don't know but it seems to work." Hotaru glanced at the waterway, "too bad it wasn't right." She muttered.

Sean tried to get to his feet and failed miserabley. "Come on lets go maybe some one will help this pitiful bastard." She said nudging him in the stomach again before walking away. "Hey lets go see If we can find his friend! THEN I CAN SHOW YOU THE REAL POWER OF THE BIRDIE BOILER HAHA!" cackled Hotaru.

Kai narrowed his eyes at the guy who sent Saige flying. "You little prick..." he growled, his fists clenched. He started walking toward the guy, who merely laughed at Kai. Kai's hands exploded into spheres of darkness, which were slowly creeping up his forearms. "She just finished saying that she would have taken the damage I received earlier." Kai looked down, his blonde hair covering his eyes. "No one has ever said anything like that to me before..." He looked back up to the person who had hurt Saige. Kai had a spark in his eye; The same spark that he had when he was in the fight with Lynn.

The other guy laughed again, mocking Kai's anger. "You really think you're strong enough to defeat one of the Three Master Sages?" [You have NO idea how tempted I was to write 'Three Musketeers'...] he said, his hands glowing a red aura like before.

Kai didn't answer him, but instead sunk into his shadow below him. Kai re-appeared behind the so-called Master Sage, and raised and arm. A shadow snaked past him and bound around the guy's torso, binding him. "What the?!" Kai's shadows surrounded the guy completely.

Kai looked to his sword. He ignored the muffled yells coming from the man engulfed in darkness, and sent shadows to retrieve his sword. The dark shadow slithered past him and crawled up his sword, grasping the hilt of his sword. They pulled it out from the ground, then shot through the air to Kai, who caught it. The shadows disintegrated, and Kai lifted his sword. He raised it above him, but paused before he brought it down on the body covered in darkness. Two glowing spheres were faintly visible through the shield of shadows. Kai's eyes widened slightly. "No! He shouldn't be able to use any of his powers...!"

Kai growled in slight confusion, and swung it down. It pierced through the shadows, but he was only able to cut through about an inch, when his sword hit something, and wouldn't budge. "What the hell?" Kai made the shadows descend from the guy, and glared at what he saw. The guy was using some sort of magic, and blocked the attack. His arm was blocking the sword, and it was still covered in a red aura.

Kai stared angrily at him, his teeth gritted. "How could he move? He's not supposed to be even able to blink. It appears I under-estimated him..." Kai lifted his sword quickly and sheathed it.

The guy with the red aura smirked. "So you're giving up? This will be easier than I thought." He used a swift movement, and some force hit Kai, who was sent flying back. "Damn..." Kai hit a thick tree some feet away, and was sure he felt something crack.

Kai slowly stood back up, but as soon as he did, something flew at him and slashed his arm. "What the hell was that?!" Then his arms shot to his sides, and he was shoved against the tree trunk, and he could feel that he left an indent. The guy sent a glowing sphere and hit flew at remarkable speed to Kai, and it hit him. Kai looked down, and chuckled. When Kai could feel that the guy was in front of him. Kai flexed his hand, and a column of darkness flowed from his palm, shooting at the guy. They knocked him over, which must have broke the guy's focus or something, because Kai was released from whatever force was pinning him. Kai whipped out his sword and stabbed the guy as soon as he could through the chest, where his heart was located. Kai twisted his sword briskly, ripping his chest. Kai pulled his sword from the guy, and walked off.

Kai continued walking until he reached Saige and Axel. Kai kicked off a large rock from Saige's leg. He bent down and poked Saige once on her shoulder. "Yo."

Denkou rolled his eyes at the pathetic sight. "Okay...Obviously this guy isn't a threat if he is defeated by such a move." Denkou continued on his way to the Graveyard, and on his way noticed someone in black, who almost looked like he or she was dressed for a funeral. Denkou looked at the person oddly, then continued on his way.

He didn't like the way that the church was so near the Graveyard. He had some sort of a grudge toward the church, especially since they supported the authorities trying to exterminate the Gyouten. They didn't like the idea of the Gyouten assassinating 'innocent' people. "There's no such thing as innocent..." he noted before slipping through the gates that let him enter the graveyard.

Five of the seven members of the Gyouten didn't like the way how Denkou walked in public and daylight so calmly, like it didn't matter if anyone saw him and recognized who he was. Denkou thought they were idiots. "Only a fool would be concerned of exposing themselves." is what he would say to them. It was so stupid of them to be so worried of them being caught. They should know by now that Denkou wasn't going to tell a soul about the Gyouten's whereabouts, or what they were planning.

Denkou approached a blank tombstone and sat on the top of it. It was fairly large, so he leaned back, his arms draping over the sides. He raised his right arm, and stared at his skeletal hand, pondering on ways to waste the day...
