Denkou raised an eyebrow at her question. "I'm not expecting anyone..." Then, a scratchy, muffled voice came from Denkou, though it wasn't him speaking.
"Lost, I'm near the Graveyard. You're there, I believe?" it said. Without taking his eyes off Cane, Denkou pulled a black, palm-sized radio off of a clip from his belt. He raised the radio to near his face, then said into it, "Yeah. What do you want? I'm kinda busy right now..." The voice, now clear, chuckled. "You? Busy? Yeah right. Look, we have an assignment for you. So get over here. I'll meet you at the gate." Denkou sighed. "Whatever." He clipped the small radio back onto his belt, then stood. He looked away from Cane and in the direction of the gate, though it wasn't visible from this point of view. Denkou turned his attention back to cane.
"You win." and Denkou turned and walked away. The sun was beginning to fade, casting shadows in the Graveyard. Moments later, Denkou approached the gate, meeting up with the member of the Gyouten that had come to get him.
Denkou took one last look at the Graveyard, in the direction of Cane, before he disappeared in a column of fire.
Denkou reappeared in a dimmed room, along with the other 6 members. He took a seat at the round table in the middle of the room. He narrowed his eyes at the other members, who were staring at him. "What do you want?!" growled Denkou, getting aggravated at the pairs of eyes on him. They looked away. "These guys...really piss me off..."
"Lost." Denkou looked up at the leader of the Gyouten, who was holding out a simple piece of paper toward Denkou. Denkou reached over and took the sheet, unfolding it.
"Cane" it read. Denkou crumpled it and stuffed it in his pocket. "Where can I find this 'Cane' person?" he questioned, standing up. One member laughed.
"Like you need to know that kind of information. C'mon. You're our assassin. You can find anyone. Just go kill her." he said casually, leaning back in his chair.
Denkou rolled his eyes. "Send me to where I can get some information on her." he ordered.
"Got it." replied the same guy, who held a hand out to Denkou. A single flame licked his palm, and a column of fire surrounded Denkou. "Don't take too long, now." he teased.
"I never do." Denkou replied, disappearing in a gout of flame.

Cane smirked in victory, "Ha! Yes! I rule!!" She yelled, standing up. She turned around at the same caw from the raven. 'God these guys sure like to keep me busy even on my break.' She thought as she leaned down to clip off a message off the raven's leg. It was obviously a messanger raven. The raven cawed loudly around Cane's ears. "Ack! God damn it! You stupid turkey! Be happy I dont kill you as well!!!" She screamed, shooing the bird away. but he stayed and waited for the reply message.
Cane sat down on the tombstone and unfolded the note. She blinked at the message.
You have a target. He has been proven dangerous and bothersome to us. His name is Denkou. Find him and eliminate him.
"Ok? They make me sound like some sort of assassin...." She whispered. "Whats the price for him I wonder..." Cane flipped it over and read 10 thousand... She twitched and smiled. "Yes! Hotel room for me tonight! Along with some food and drinks! Woo!" She exclaimed, shoving the note in her pocket and walking away. Daydreaming about a fancy hotel maybe even one that had a host club.
She sighed and walked out of the graveyard. Still feeling victorious. She paused and turned around, at flapping sounds. The ebony raven was following her, she wasnt surprised. He always done that, ever since she joined the military. Cane rolled her eyes, turned around and continued on her way.

Denkou reappeared in the middle of a street in central Triliment. "Why am I always dropped off here...?" Denkou sighed and began to head back to the graveyard. "I was expecting them to drop me off in the graveyard...there, I could at least have summoned the dead so that I could get their help on finding--"
"Lost! We have traced Cane's location. We couldn't get her exact location though, but when you're close, we'll let you know. She's around northern Triliment City, by the Church and Graveyard." Came the familiar, staticy voice from the small radio.
Denkou turned on his heel and began to walk toward the church. "Well, that makes this alot easier. Though I usually like the chase..." He was only a ten minute walk to the church's grounds, so this assassination shouldn't take very long...

Cane sighed as she slowly made her way towards the bar/inn thing. She will look for him in about in an hour or so. And if she got in trouble she knew she can make up some lame excuse. They always bought it of course. The raven flapped annoying high above her head. She looked up at the ebony raven.
"Do they name their birds?" She wondered aloud. "Well, if you have no name, Im just gonna call you Nothing." She said amused. No other 'clever' name came to mind. She began to ramble on in her mind. Fantasing about her prize money and all that. Bored.
"Sooooo.... Nothing is very annoying. Do you realize that?" She said up at the Raven. 'God, Im such a freak. Talking to a bird named Nothing. What kind of person am I?' She thought. Cane sighed and looked around. A child was walking down the path towards her. She looked up and her mouth opened... in surprise.
"Puppy!" She said happily, pointing at her ears and tail. "What? Oh no.... Um... got to run!" She said, turning around and leaping into the air and disapearing into the trees. She loathed when people touched her ears. It annoyed her to no end.

ooc// Okay, just incase you're confuzed as to why The Gyouten is always calling Denkou "Lost", it's because the members of The Gyouten never address one another by their real names. So Denkou's 'nickname' is 'Lost', which is also the word engraved on Denkou's gun.
Denkou froze as someone yelled at him. "Lost! She's really close to you. No more than a block away!" Denkou whipped the radio off of his belt and said into it, "Shut up! Why are you trying to help me all of the sudden?! This is my assignment. Leave me alone." "Because, this person we're having you assassinate isn't just your average person. She's a serious threat to our organization. She works for the military, and if what I've looked up is correct, then she's really tough. If she continues to exist in this world, then she can even bring us down." Denkou narrowed his eyes. "You should know by now that I'm not going to let the organization come down that easily. Obviously, this chick is going to die. So just leave me the hell alone and let me do my job." "But Lost...!" Denkou shut off his small radio, and put it away. "I don't need their help...."
Denkou checked his surroundings. "So she's around here...She was around the Church earlier, and in shuch short time she's been heading in this direction. So at this rate, if I just wait here for a bit, then she should be here any second now...." Denkou looked down the now misty road. Night fall was now nearing, and at a faster than usual speed. Though the light of day has been switching with the darkness of night alot today. Why? Denkou wasn't quite sure...
Denkou heard a child squeal nearby. Denkou's eye twitched. "Okay...If the big major threat that must be exterminated immediently turns out to be some little kid, I'm seriously going to quit this Organization..." he thought with sarcasim, as he waited for whoever it was he needed to assassinate to show up.

Cane smirked as she did a double take, she heard the child walk away. All her senses focused on that child. Oh the horror of human hands touching her silky soft white ears. Demeaning them of their silkyness. She sighed and didnt watch where she was going and collided with Denkou. She hit him painfully, she yelped and spun on her heel, unsheathing Valkea faster then the eye could see. Her eyes shut in pain she screamed, "Stay away oh demon child from hell! Plant your hands on ears and you're gonna pay!!! Litteraly or not! Im not too sure! Not even Nothing is gonna save you!!!" The raven cawed at the call of his new name and watched from afar.
She paused, opened her eyes and only saw the guy from before. "Oh... its only you. Okay no big deal." She said with a small laugh. "Alright..." She lowered her voice. "Did a demon child pass through here? If so.... warn me if she comes near again...." She said, looking over her shoulder for any sign of the child. Cane sighed in relief. "OK.... Im safe for now."

Denkou closed his eyes then sighed in annoyance. "Okay, I'll make this trip seem shorter..." He took a few steps ahead, only to have someone run into him "What the...!"
"Stay away oh demon child from hell! Plant your hands on ears and you're gonna pay!!! Litteraly or not! Im not too sure! Not even Nothing is gonna save you!!!" screamed the maniac who was suddenly weilding a sword. Denkou stared at the person in shock, as she calmed down and opened her eyes. Denkou's eye twitched. "No way.........It's.....her...."
"Oh... its only you. Okay no big deal." She said with a small laugh. "Alright..." She lowered her voice. "Did a demon child pass through here? If so.... warn me if she comes near again...." She said, looking over her shoulder for some reason. Denkou looked around as she did. There was no one else around. Was this Cane....? The girl sighed in relief. "OK.... Im safe for now."
Denkou stared at her again. "No....She's the one I'm suppossed to assassinate....." His shaking hand began to reach to his waist to pull out a weapon, but his hand clenched into a fist and stopped mid way. "Why does it seem so hard to do this....?! No.....I have to find out....." Denkou lowered his hand, and watched the girl. She was definately the same one from in the graveyard.
Denkou closed his eyes and looked away. "I have to find out for sure...." He looked back at her. "...Your name...What is your name...?" he asked with surprising difficulty.

"My name? Oh its Cane... why?" She tilted her head, slightly confused. But then she noticed he was going for a weapon. 'Maybe he was surprised?' She thought. Cane looked down at Valkea, who was still in her grasp. 'Well no wonder hes going for a weapon, frikken huge ass sword being weilded in his face.' She thought, mentally slapping herself.
"Well yeah, my name is Cane whats yours? Only fair... but anyway, no time to chat hehehehe I have an, ahem, assignment to do." She said pausing to wait for a responce. Then she has to go after the very same guy who was standing right in front of her, my god isnt she clueless?
Cane resheathed Valkea half way, wonder why? She crossed her arms, wondering why he was here anyway. 'A rematch from before?' She thought, with a smirk. 'No problem, I'll just win again. Then go kill this Denkou dude....'

Denkou felt a sinking feeling in his stomach. "She's.........she's Cane........." He stared in shock at her. "Why....do I........feel like this.....? What is this? Why can't I just kill her....?" Denkou froze at her question. "Should I say my name....? No one in the military should know it...I guess it could be safe..." He opened his mouth slightly to speak, then hesitated, and closed his mouth again. "But she's the enemy.....Should I........" He closed his eyes. "She probably thinks I'm an idiot, not being able to speak like this...ah, why should I care?!?!"
Denkou opened his eyes again. "I'm Denkou..." "If the Military would know me then they'd address me as "Lost". No one should know my real name except...well...Me, the Gyouten and Cane...."

Cane paused when he said his name. She half laughed as she stared at him. Several shivers went up and down her spine. "You... Youre... youre name is.... huh..." She stared at him in disbelief. 'He... cant be the one.... no... ha ha ha dont believe him.' She thought, she tried so hard to stop herself from taking out Valkea. The obeying military soldier she was going for her sword. She was shaking uncontroably.
'What the hell... no! Kill him now Cane, it isnt hard! You've done it before!' "Denkou.... you're... an assassin.... arent you..." She said quietly. Cane gripped Valkea's hilt with difficulty.
"You.. cant be him..." She whispered. Cane turned away from him. Not wanting to face him at this moment. 'WHY THE HELL CANT I KILL HIM!?!' she thought angerly. Cane was trying to go through her feelings. 'Come on, turn around quickly, slice off his head and bring him back to the military. Not too hard. Come on DO IT NOW!!!'
"NOOO!" She screamed alloud, trying to defy her mind which was turning against her. Nothing ((xD)) cawed loudly at her outburst.

Denkou noticed how she was shaking. "Was she...sent to kill me...?" he wondered, seeing as she was gripping the hilt of her sword again. She seemed to be having as hard a time as he was. Denkou stepped back, shaking his head slowly. "No...Now I definately can't let her live...she's been sent to kill me...the Military obviously knows my real name already..."
"Denkou.... you're... an assassin.... arent you..." she said quietly. Denkou felt a shiver go up his spine. It was confirmed. The 'assignment' she had mentioned earlier...They had been sent to kill each other at the same time. She must have gotten orders to do so at about the same time as he did... "You...can't be him..." she whispered.
Denkou stared at her through wide eyes. He watched her turn away. "NOOO!" she screamed. Denkou felt a shiver crawl up his spine. He closed his eyes tighly and with a shaking hand, pulled out a dagger from his belt. "I...need to kill her...she's a threat..." He took a reluctant step towards her. "Why the hell can't I just do this.....I've....never really felt this way before killing someone before...." Denkou stepped forward again, raising his blood-stained dagger slightly.
Denkou's arm trembeled, until he couldn't take it anymore. "GOD DAMMIT!!!" He threw the dagger to the hard ground. He just couldn't do it. He hadn't even known this person; only shared a couple minutes having a staring contest with her in a graveyard. But..for some reason...he just couldn't kill her. Denkou looked away. "St...stay away from me..." he mutterred, before backing up. "It's best she leaves me alone..."

"Now, unleash our champion's foes!" Cried the High Priest, as the afternoon sky turned to night. This will be interesting in the extreme. Ah, the joy of spilt blood. Suddenly the High Priest started to cough up blood. "It's alright, i'm fine. Just get me....Neo! Yes, Neo Mallera!" He smiled as his arms faintly started to glow in a pale purple light. "Yes, he'll do just fine.."
****** Barrelex saw the paladins unlock the creatures and run. One unfortunate two paladins however met their end- one was swallowed by the slug's bladed mouth and acid, another slain by Barrelex's shiar-ri- those deadly claws skewering him right threw the throat. He held his position, Drawing his small dagger and drawing in the dirt a symbol of light and channeled energy into it. the entire yard lit up like an Earth stadium. His hand moved to his back and tried to grasp his staff which he remembered was in the infirmary. " Hey! Someone grab me my staff! QUICK!!!!!" The Shiar-ri ran to him, thrusting her black talons like a professional assassin with a dagger- or five.
****** The slug lowered its large armored body and crawled toward Lynn in a ravenous fury. It's tiny brain told it to feed again, and this one was lean. It cared not for odd she smelt, it just wanted her blood to taste and her meat to feast apon; fresh, wet and lean meat...
******* With a mechanical hiss, the hunter opened its cones where the hands were to be and let the tendrils hang for a second to breath. It's red eye scanned its opponent, and checked for weak points. With a mechanical voice it taunted the assassin,"C'mon, lets see what those blades can do bitch!" Even though it was a machine, it still had a human brain to control its movements and thoughts. The tendrils had gotten stretchy and were now ready for the impaling. Recoiling them, and closing the cones, it charged, and when at a close enough range fired the tendrils, which now had the sharp point at the tip, like a torpedo. The construct's only eye narrowed and swung with the other tendril like a whip. Nothing could stop it now.
******* "One Nezumi, it's Lady Dionica to you and second-" she brought her hand back and slapped the poor fellow to the floor, bringing her tail to his face, spikes extending from the slits and holding his shoulders down- "your mission is to find what my idiot cleric here didn't get- sweets. I don't care if you steal it from a frigging brat, get them to me within the hour and you see your next meal." She smiled and her eyes looked at him almost motherly.Lifting her tail, and picking him up- she found her strength to be her best aphrodisiac- looked him in the eye and said only two words before throwing him out the door " Three hours."

Lynn came out of no where, jumping from the high blacony, a large scroll tied to her back. A windmill shuriken in hand. She fell through the air, getting ready to stab the collapsible shuiken into the slug's brain. She landed ontop her enemy's armoured head. She tapped her foot on it. "Armour huh? You're gonna prove to be a challenge." From below, where only newly transformed scarecrow was wearing her old clothes, soaked in her blood. 'Well, you're stupid enough to fall for that.'
Lynn's hair was back in its original stye. The only thing that changed was her clothes and weapons, also Barrelex's staff, she yelled down to him, "Hey! You forgot something!" With that she threw it to him, Lynn then focused on keeping balance as the slug thrashed wildly to get her down. She held the windmill shuriken and clicked it open, four razor sharp blades moved out and seperated. Then she ran closer to its eyes, growing longer, sharper nails. She dug into the metal, simple task for her, but still very painful.
The sky was blackening very quickly. Bright lights shone onto the field. Lynn blinked and adjusted before quickly getting back to the business at hand
The slug thrashed and Lynn was close to falling off but held on. "Hello there!" She said, glaring at the slug. Acid was flying everywhere and some it succeeded in hitting her. A small bit hit her cheek, it hissed as it burned through her flesh. Her back was aching in pain already. Lynn winced and thrust the shuriken into its eyes.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Cane gripped Valkea. Then she heard him mutter, "St...stay away from me..." Without a hint of adrenline or fear or anything, Valkea was out in a flash. The sun was slowly dieing away. The long, clean blade was held at his throat. "I....will kil--... I.... can't....arg... you... stay away." She muttered, her white bangs hiding her eyes. She held that position for a moment, until the dying orange of the sun was suddenly violet.
"Im... so...ry" She said, pausing between the word. Cane looked up at him. Cane backed away and turned and ran, sheathing her sword. Not turning back to Denkou amd disappearing into the night. Nothing (the raven) cawed at the assassin before flying after Cane. 'Now I failed. I shouldnt have though...damn it all...' She thought confused. Trying to think of every possible reason why she didnt kill him right then and there.

A small smile flits across Taylin's face as the monsters are unleashed. "Alright then. Time for some fun." She takes a short step towards the hunter and unbuckles her cloak. As it flutters to the ground she catapaults her self into the air, over the tendrils. As she flips over the mechanical creature, she unleashes a short barrage of knives, most of which bounce of the creature's metallic hide. A few manage to penetrate its fleshy regions though they deal very little damage. She lands behind the creature and spins around to face it, drawing her right blade as she does. A flick of her wrist cause a trio of daggers to appear in her left hand. A quick study of her opponent confirms her fear. "I shoulda seen that one coming. Construct, metal. Makes sense." She shakes her head and launches her daggers as the behemoth turns to face her, each small blade aimed for a tendril. She lunges forward with her right blade leading, drawing her left as she does.

"Well Ill be off then. Nexus you can handle Saige cant you?"Dragogale said quietly."Sure. Ill be fine." Nexus replied."Ill see you guys tomarrow." Dragogale then walked out of the door. He looked back then turned forward and went for a small flight into the darkning sky.
Nexus was curious to what Dragogale was up to. Well what could he do? He looked at Saige and put her down. "So what are we going to do now?"He asked.
