The Story (Triliment Setting)

Saige sat there still disoriented. Everything moved when Nexus moved her and put her down. " Oh my," she said then put her hand on her head to steady the moving ground. " Thats some major earthquake in my head." she thought. " Your not fully head are you Saige?" a though came to her. Saige slowly looked up so that everything would move so much. She looked at Axel on Raven's shoulder. " No, everything keeps on moving. Only if I move my head too much." she thought. Axel jumped off of Raven's shoulder and walked over to her. " You need to drink a healing herbal herb. I'll ask Raven if she has any." Axel said. The she watched as he turned and looked at Raven his tail going up and down.

Raven smiled at Axel's question. " Yeah I have some healing herbal herbs. I always have them just in case I need them." she thought. She looked at Nexus at first then smirked. " I'm taking her." she said. Then she walked closer and then bent down and picked Saige up. She saw Saige closed her eyes. " You're having dizziness? Yes? How about nausea?" she asked. Then she looked at Axel. " Come on, go on my shoulder and lets get out of here. Its already getting dark." she thought. Axel meowed once then jumped on her shoulder. " Bye Nexus" she said. Then she walked away and headed through the forest where she came from. She ignored everything that was there, only concentrating on her destination although her body was alert and ready if any danger were to come. She moved fast,efficiently and carefully as she treaded along the forest. Saige didn't weigh that much so she knew she wouldn't drag her down as they were going to fly. Her wings came out black and painless. She bent her knees then went airborne. She then made her wings turn invisible. " Saige can you give us some fog, so that the villagers won't see us?" she asked. The only reply she got was a nod. Then the fog came quickly and thickly too. Raven could feel Axel's claw dig in through her clothes. " Hey watch those nails!" she said. And she headed towards her lair where Lexis was.

Denkou closed his eyes as the sharp blade pressed against his throat. "So...This is how it is then, is it?" He didn't move as she spoke partial words, shaken up by the situation. Denkou's eyes tightened "Damn it..."

"I'm... so...ry" Cane said, pausing between the word. Denkou opened his eyes, and saw Cane look up at him. She backed away, turned then ran, sheathing her sword. Not turning back to Denkou and disappeared into the night.

Denkou stared, then leaned against the stone wall of the pub beside him. He ran a hand through his silver hair, pausing halfway and clenching a fist. "What the hell just happenned...? No...I have to go find her. I need to kill her...I cant just let her get away like this..." Denkou released his hair and starightened himself. He looked up and saw some kid smiling at him. Denkou glared at the child. "What's your problem?!" The child only giggled and ran away. "Is that the demon child Cane was talking about...?"

Denkou shook his head slowly and began to walk off, heading toward the graveyard. He needed to sort out his emotions and see why the hell he was feeling this way. He needed to find out what this newfound emotion was.

Cane was in the bar pub thing. It was quite dead within. Only a few people were sitting and chatting by themselves in some lonely emo corner. Cane walked to the front and sat on a bar stool. The bartender looked at her, at her ears and blinked and went back to cleaning a cup. She sat there, unaware of staring eyes. She sat... waited and let her head fall. Her head hit painfully on the polished wood. She didnt care. She was so confused, she felt nothing.

"....ow." She whispered after a moment. Everyone stared at the loud 'thunk' when her head connected with the wood. The bartender smirked and grabbed a pencil out of no where and poked Cane in the head. Her hands came up and swatted at the air, missing the pencil entirely.

"You alright?" He asked her. She gave a muffled answer. ".... Im sorry, I dont speak muffled."
"I said I HATE MONDAYS!!!" She yelled. Everyone looked at her and the whole bar said in unison,
"Its wednesday." They echoed.
"...SEE?!?! Im so confused, I think its monday!" She said all depressed, she let her head fall once again and she lay there.
"...Hey, what the hell is a raven doing in here?"
"Thats Nothing."
"....Looks like something."
"No... its Nothing."
"Its a bird! In my bar!"
"Nothing is here! Nothing stays with me!" Cane replied, getting annoyed.
"I dont care about your personal life! I just want that bird out of here!!!"
"FINE!!! Descriminating jerk! Wont allow Nothing in your bar huh?! Well then if Nothing is allowed, then im LEAVING!" She shouted.
"I dont let nothing in?! I only allow humans! No pets!!" he retorted. Cane ignored him and walked out. She walked away into the dark, finding a flat rock in a forest and collasped on it. Trying to figure out what the hell was wrong with the Bartender and whatever happened back there with Denkou

[Barrelex]

Barrelex jumped for the staff and missed, falling on his face. Quickly getting up he saw the shiar-ri right on top of him, claws ready for the kill. Swiftly he rolled to the left, and collected his staff while doing so. He twirled it expertly and pointed the carved dragon head at the female, then smirked at the creature impishly. "Do you like rainbows? Hope so, 'cause heres twenty for you! Rainbow Bolt!" he said, firing much larger bolts at the shiar-ri at a finally matched speed. 5 bolts connected, slicing her arms and legs. No critical points- sadly..

The Primal Hunter retracted one of the tendrils, still whipping with the second shot. It's eye tracked her movements and aniticipated her next move. Recoiling slowly, it tried to circle her it's cones now holding small spikes- this was how it made its living- piercing through the opponents heart with these little prongs. This was getting good! "What? Too scared of these? Don't worry, I'll make sure you feel your heart stop!" it taunted in it's mechanical voice.

The Acidic slug felt something on its back after it ate the girl. But it wasn't the girl it ate was it? This one wasn't wet. Not tasting of blood, but something not familar...Now something was on his back! He screeched, and then pushed up his spines, all drenched in fresh acid. Lots of acid. Spraying everywhere. The now pissed slug was proud of this move, it would kill everything! Then eat it. It moved a red stalk-eye to the other meals. The rain of acid started to pour over them..The other eye tracked Lynn. It saw her standing there...the eye narrowed.

Nezumi grabbed onto the wall for support as he pulled himself onto his feet. "Stupid Cleric. He should have gotten the sweets for Dionica....Now I have to spend my money...And I was hoping to buy somethings tomorrow..." Nezumi closed the door, and looked down the long hallway. "I bet that cleric PURPOSELY didn't get the sweets so he didn't have to spend HIS money!!! Grr..." Nezumi sighed and walked down the never-ending hallways that he had to travel along daily. "Okay...So...Where should I go to get sweets. I should go to the most expensive place I can find. Higher price, higher quality...most of the time. Dionica would be unsatisfied if I got her cheap stuff..." Nezumi raised a hand to his cheek, where Dionica had slapped him. "Oww..." He looked pretty rough; a black eye and a red slap mark across his face....

Denkou was now sitting with his back against a tombstone, his head tilted so he was facing the darkening sky and his eyes closed. He still hadn't found an answer to his feelings yet. Questions were running madly through his mind, and he couldn't find any answers for them; just excuses.

Denkou's skeletal fingers dug slightly into the soil as questions continued popping up...

Another smile plays across Taylin's lips. "Afraid? Why would I be afraid of a creature such as you?" She darts back a few steps and flips her long knives into a reverse grip. She spreads her arms to either side with the blades pointed skyward. "Prepare to meet your fate, Child of Vyth. Come dance with Death's Butterfly." With the last word she darts forward, dodging around the spiked cones, and unleashes a flurry of slashes and stabs at the creature's torso.

As Lovisa rejoins the caravan, several of the other hirelings take a step a closer to her. She ignores the stares and glances she receives from them, having been getting them since day one of this little excursion. Up till this point none of them had had the guts to actually speak to her, but that was fine by her. She would have preferred to not be associated with these novice fighters. As they near the city gates one of the guards, a young man maybe a year older than herself, finally works up the courage to step up to her. She glances at him out of the corner of her eye and continues to ignore him. He clears his throat once and speaks to her. "That was a pretty neat trick back there. Almost as good as the time I..." As he breaks into a long monologue about all of his feats, most of them probably fakes, Lovisa tilts her head slightly and stares at him. "Would you be so kind as to shut up? I find your boasts insulting and you are a disgrace to the warrior name." The man stutters to a stop and turns beet red. "What was that, you uneducated little bitch? You trying to pick a fight with me?" Lovisa stops and turns to face the man fully. "You wish to fight? Very well, come at me then." The man, by now livid, draws his sword and rushes at Lovisa. As he nears her, Lovisa drops the axe off her back and snaps her left hand forward, her fist connecting with the flat of the mans blade. Which consequently shatters as her fist continues through to smash him in the chest, sending him tumbling back several feet. As she spins on her heel, she scoops up her axe and continues walking into the city. Inside the gates, her employer hands her a small sack of coins and quickly turns away. She shakes her head and tucks the bag under her breast plate. She stalks of towards the inn, hoping to find a room and something strong to drink.

Raven went inside the lair only to be greeted by Lexis's snoring again. She shook her her head. " Lexis, wake up we have two visitors." she called out. She heard Lexis groaned then say " Visitors? Odd, never remember you ever bringing any visitors ever." Raven walked over to where her comfortable hay bed was, over top of the hay was a cloth so that it wasn't rough, and that made it comfortable. She gently placed Saige on the bed. " Hang on I'll mix the herbal now. Axel this is Lexis and Lexis this is Axel the cat and thats Saige laying down. She's one of my kind." she said before turning and going to mix some of the herbal mix. She lit the camp area on fire and then put a pot on top of the flames. In the pot she put some water and the herbs that Saige needed to drink.

After a few minutes with Raven's help the brew finally finished. She then put it in a small cup. She walked over to Saige and placed the cup in her hands. " Here drink this, it'll help with the dizziness." she said. She walked over by the entrance and lifted the vines to clear her view so she could look out. " Its getting dark and soon we need to get you back to the church. Lexis and I can take you then, since at dark, its when we both come out to hunt. Are you finished with your drink yet?" she asked.

" In a minute," Saige replied. Raven turned and looked at Lexis and Axel who seemed to be having a silent conversation. She sighed lightly and relaxed her shoulders. " I'm done! I'm feeling a whole lot better! Thank you Raven." Saige said. Raven turned her attention to Saige and smiled slightly. " Your welcome, besides we always look after people who gets hurt no matter who they are, well maybe except for the enemies." she commented which got a laugh out of Saige. Raven sighed again, " Come on lets get you back to the church." she said.

Saige got up and so did Axel and Lexis. " You guys don't need to use your wings, you can ride on me." Lexis said. Raven nodded her head then got on Lexis's back. She stuck out her hand to pull Saige behind her. When Saige was behind her and Axel in between them Raven said, " You better hang on, it might be bumpy." Then Lexis took off. Faster than sonic the hedgehog she went here there and yet carefully threading along the forest to get to the church. They went through the graveyard and almost collided onto a tombstone. When Raven looked back she saw that there was someone sitting with his back against a tombstone. The person looked deep in thought. She looked away from the person and then looked ahead of her. They were by the church and by the entrance. " Here you go. I guess we will see you tomorrow, when you all leave for the quest." she said. She helped Saige and Axel down and then waved farewell. " Lets hunt Lexis, and lets go deep in the forest I think there is better food there." she said. Then they were off and passed the person by the tomb again.

Saige watched the Raven and Lexis go ff. " I hope they will be alright." she thought. " are you kidding, Raven and Lexis can take care of themselves, but you missy need a good night's rest. Lets go in." Axel's thoughts answered her. She went in the church and went in one of the rooms. She spotted a bed and she didn't know who's it was and didn't care. But she was tired so she just went in and went to sleep, Axel by her side who also went to sleep.

[Half-Dragon]

Dragogale just liked to have a break just flying around. It calmed him and allowed him to think but there wasnt much to think about. He decided to circle back to the church since there wasnt much to see. After a few minits he had the church in sight. He noticed that in the arena that there were the finalists battling it out against creatures."I never fought some these creatures before. I wonder if the priest will let me kill one for fun?" He said aloud. He flew forward to see the fight better and decided to watch from the roof.

'What am I going to do now.Saige is gone as well as Dragogale. Im alone and totally bored.'Nexus thought. 'Guess Ill grab something to eat.'Nexus traced his steps back to the infirmary to find some food.

Lynn twisted out of the way from most of the acid. Most of her clothes were burned away.
'Damn it!' She thought angerly. She brought her arm up and swung the windmill shuriken down upon its beady little red eye. Some acid landed on the shuriken as well. 'God, you're more troublesome then I expected.' Lynn caught grip and ran up its armoured head. She quickly opened the scroll and lay it down.

She looked down at it, placed her hands on the scroll.
"Roar Fenikkusu!!" She yelled above the slugs own scream. A burst of flame that surrounded Lynn. White and blue fire that enveloped her, a powerful screech was heard. A beautiful bird was flapping above the slug's head. Lynn on top its head. They were high in the air, out of the slugs reach. The height was high enough so all of Triliment could see this magnificent bird. The bird let out another screech. Its feathers were a cluster of color's, red, orange, blue, violet and pink, a aura of light surrounded it as it luminated through the dark.

Lynn smirked and said something that could not be heard, and the bird swooped down at incredible speed to the slug. Going straight for the eyes. The bird opened its beak as it made contact with the slugs face thing. Its claws grasping its arms and body. It screeched loudly as acid was burning away at its flesh, but began to stab out its eyes.

Hizoku looked at Hotaru, darkness was everywhere. She looked up at the sky. The moon was bright and full. She gasped.
"Hotaru... Lynn.... she should be changing now..." She whispered quietly. But thankfully, a large cluster of clouds shrouded the silver orb. Hizoku relaxed a bit, but still very worried. Then something bright caught her eye, she twirled around, and saw a very beautiful but strangely glowing bird high up. She couldnt see Lynn though.
"Oh wow... Look at that..."
In a fraction of a second, it disappeared as soon as it apeared.

Cane sighed as she flipped onto her back. Nothing made a cooing sound. ((Have you ever heard a raven coo? I did... it sounds cool)) She looked at the black bird and sighed. She sat up and began to walk towards the graveyard. She had to settle this. She needed to know what the hell was going on. Nothing followed after her.

About five minutes later, she entered the graveyard. She sniffed the air and found Denkou's scent. Her ears twitched and she looked up at Nothing. He flapped towards the direction he was in. She smirked and walked towards him. Cane peered around a tombstone and saw the back of his head. She walked up behind him and reached down and poked the back of his head.
"Ok Denkou. You put some crazy assassin voodoo on me so I cound kill you. Take it off now or else. Even Nothing wont save you or stop me from unleashing my wrath."
She said quietly. The bird landed on a tombstone in front of him, tilting his head at Cane's words and to take a good look at Denkou.

Denkou watched the moon appear to grow in size as the night went on. He knew that he had three choices. 1: Go and kill this Cane person. 2: Do nothing and hope she doesn't try and bring down the Gyouten. Or 3: He could go find her and sort this all out. Denkou closed his eyes tight as someone poked the back of his head. He reached down and grasped his sword, but didn't need to kill, as he heard a voice that was unmistakebly recognizable.

"Ok Denkou. You put some crazy assassin voodoo on me so I cound kill you. Take it off now or else. Even Nothing wont save you or stop me from unleashing my wrath." same the familiar voice of Cane. A raven perched on a nearby tombstone, observing Denkou.

Denkou lowered his head a bit. "And how did she know she'd find me here....?" He sighed, then mutterred, "I didn't place any voodoo on you. I'm not skilled with that kind of stuff..." He turned to face Cane, his eyes questioning. "But maybe you do those kind of things. So maybe you can tell me why I couldn't kill you earlier." he said calmly, though inside, he wasn't calm. Not the least bit.

After devouring 2 apples a loaf of bread and some dried fruit Chiri's unnaturally ravenous hunger was satisfied. Chiri leaned back against the truck of a tree she was sitting in and tried to identify what time of day it was. 'lets see' She thought ' The birds have stopped singing, its colder now and the noise from the city seems to have quieted' she pondered for a moment. "I guess its just starting to get dark." Chiri searched through the supplies she had stolen from the goblin, to see if there was any money. Her hand sought out a small jangling pouch she poured the contents into her hand and felt some small coins. "yes! just enough for a room at the Inn and some food!" cheered Chiri as she shimmied down the trunk and headed in the direction of the town.

Hotaru glanced at Hizoku, and a slightly confused look spread across her face. "Lynn...?.....OH YEAH THE WERE-DOGGY... I almost forgot about her..." She said, her mood changing from confused, to exclamatory, to uncaring in less then 30 seconds. "hmm well I wouldn't worry to much about her, I'm pretty sure were-doggies don't like fire too much anyways" Hotaru answered, evidently forgetting that Lynn was a were-wolf not a were-doggy. She looked up at the sky to see the colorful bird lighting up the night. "hm I wonder what kind of bird that is." she muttered to herself, pointing her eyes away and focusing on the new problem arising. Her stomach. "I'm hungry again." Hotaru moaned suddenly changing her course and heading for the Inn.

Cane glared at him. "Me? Voodoo? Nope. I dont roll that way." She said quietly. She looked over to Nothing who cawed and watched Cane.

"Ok ok ok... we are in a mess.... how in the world... are we supposed to kill each other and explain to our bosses that we completed the task. Maybe Nothing can tell them or something." She whispered to herself. Trying to fin a loophole in this lose lose situation. "Well.... If I succeed in killing you, you get in trouble for not killing me but then youre dead. If you succeed in kill ME then... I get in trouble." She paused, "Nothing will you please help me out here?!" She yelled at the bird. She sighed, getting really confused.
"Ok.... what should we do?" She finally finishing her conversation with herself and Nothing, she poked Denkou's head once again.

Hizoku took one last look in the sky and sighed at Hotaru's sudden mood swings, then walking towards the inn. She followed, only occasionaly looking up at the sky. Hizoku took a look behind her, Sean was still lying on the ground. Half dead. '..... someone will help them... wont they?' She thoght before running up beside Hotaru.

Denkou's hand whipped up and caught Cane's before she could poke him a second time. He looked at her with ravenous eyes. "Caution. I do bite." he warned, not wanting her to continue poking him. He released her hand and dropped his to his side. "I could kill some people and create some decoys. You can tell the Military that you killed me and I'll tell my Organization that I killed you. That simple." he suggested. Denkou just wanted Cane to leave. But, he knew that if she left, he'd want her to come back. It was very confuzing to him...

Denkou stood on the tombstone and scanned the Graveyard with his silver eyes. He suddenly felt the presence of someone else nearby. His eyes fell upon someone entering the gate. With better focus, he noticed it as one of the Gyouten. "Shit...!" Denkou looked at Cane quickly, then back at the person approaching at a fair speed. "If he sees me and Cane here, then he'll expect me to kill her immediently..." Denkou jumped to the soil, then with his skeletal hand, he drew a pattern on the tombstone beside him. The design wasn't visible; actually, it just looked like he was drawing something in the air.

After a few seconds, he placed his hand on the stone and mutterred, "Sono tökéletesen venir em mijn visare." His 'drawing' from earlier on the tombstone started to glow a pale blue, illuminating the ground around Denkou's feet. Then Denkou stepped back, since the place he was just standing, a skeletal hand erupted from the ground. Slowly, a half-rotten corpse pulled itself out from the ground with ease.

When it was out, it turned it's decaying face, which still had patches and chunks of flesh on it, to Denkou. Denkou raised his arm and pointed to the approaching man. "Make him go..." he instructed casually. The corpse turned its socketless eyes to the approaching member of the Gyouten, then it moved hauntingly to it's destination.

Denkou leaned back against the now dimmed tombstone. "He wont be here for very long..." he noted, talking about the guy who was now recieving the message from the summonned corpse.

"What... wait... AHA!!! I knew you knew some sort of voodoo!!!!" She shouted. Nothing cawed and glared for no apparent reason. Probably mimicking Cane's emotions. She glared at him from behind, before jumping up and landing in front of him. She sat down in front of him.
"Alright, we need two bodies. Here I'll be right back ^^ Nothing, you stay here." She said and ran off, in the oppisite direction of the other guy who was talking to a dead corpse. The raven sat there, still glaring at Denkou. Every once and while, ruffling his feathers.

A loud male scream was heard quite a distance away. Then all was quiet again. Cane came from out of the darkness, dragging the body behind her with ease. She came back and Nothing cawed happily. The body belonged to none other then Seans friend Dwight.

"Here you go ^^ a fresh body. But the thing is I have to bring it to the military because then if I dont, I dont get money. Without money I dont get a place to stay or anything to eat." She explained. "So go ahead, do your scary voodoo and lets get this over and done with." Cane dropped the body of Dwight in front of Denkou like a proud puppy who has just gone and retrieved the morning newspaper for her master. She sat down in front of him and smiled. Then without any warning to thinking she added, "You're really cute." She muttered. Nothing cawed in surprise and almost fell off his perch. Cane turned around and poked the bird, silencing him. She turned back to Denkou. "Alright Mr Dango, do your voodoo thing."

((Denkou sounds like Dango XDDDD and Cane is the kind of person to call him that ^^))

Denkou watched as Cane dragged in a dead body of some kid.

"Here you go. A fresh body. But the thing is I have to bring it to the military because then if I dont, I dont get money. Without money I dont get a place to stay or anything to eat." She explained. "So go ahead, do your scary voodoo and lets get this over and done with." Denkou looked down at the body. "You're really cute." Denkou's body went rigid, and he slowly looked back at Cane, who was now turned around so she could poke the raven. She turned back to Denkou. "Alright Mr Dango, do your voodoo thing."

Denkou raised an eyebrow. "Uh...Right..." He reached over and started to get to work. He drew the same symbol as before on the dead kid's chest. "Sono tökéletesen venir em mijn visare." Hands of the Dead clawed their way out of the ground, grapsed the kid, and began to pull him down with them. Denkou sighed as the body sunk into the ground.

"It's called Necromancy. Not 'voo-doo'." he added, correcting her. But he couldn't get his mind off of what she she had said earlier. "You're really cute." Denkou shook his head. "She's probably just...tired. Not thinking straight..." he thought, not quite believeing what she had told him earlier.
